They're more realistic and create better sense of believability when you are in those games. Races like this really make the world feel grounded can give the events a good sense of cause and effect. They worship a spiderqueen because of where they come from. The player could find themselves sympathizing with a class like that and choose the role of a thief. They are people who have a lot of talent but really aren't appreciated to the extent that they deserve because of they're grey like appearance. A race of people who have a lot to offer to society. The Drows are a particularly interesting race in the Drows.
